Wonderwomen Pilates
Pilates

What is Pilates?
Pilates is a challenging full-body exercise workout focusing on core strength, flexibility, and postural correction. It creates efficient movement patterns and produces correct muscle recruitment which serves to protect the spine and prevent injury.

With the focus on stability, precision, flow of movement, and syncopated breathing patterns, Pilates aids the practitioner in creating a deep sense of body awareness and control.

Following a regular Pilates programme not only leads to greater levels of body awareness but improves posture, realignment, strength, flexibility, balance, tones muscles, and gives an overall sense of well-being.

We offer mat classes using various equipment pieces including magic circles, balance pads, rollers, weights, balls, and bands.

HIIT
High-Intensity Interval Training
This training is geared to get your heart rate up quickly for short bouts of high-intensity training- like skipping or hopping with short rest periods.
DanceFit

DanceFit class combines all the fun of learning dance moves with calorie burning and loads of fun. The class combines various styles to make sure you de-stress and get super fit. At WonderWomen the class can be anything from cabaret to Hoola Hooping. And no, you do not need to be a dancer in any way shape, or form to have a great time in this class!

Rebounding

Rebounding is a high intensity class on a mini trampoline. It is one of the quickest ways to build muscle mass, improve overall strength and increase fitness levels. This is because when you bounce on a trampoline, every cell in your body works twice as hard to defy gravity (as well as forces acceleration).

Functional

These exercises help to prepare you better for activities of daily living. Squatting, pushing, or pulling for example are strengthened increasing your capabilities for performing these types of movements in everyday life and reducing your risk of injury.

Boxing
Make sure to have your boxing gloves for this hi-energy boxing-based fitness class.
This class combines elements from boxing, HIIT, calisthenics, Resistance, and functional training
Zumba

Zumba is basically the most awesome calorie-burning dance class ever. The style uses a Latin base with other international styles – alternating high and low(er) intensity moves to maximise the cardiovascular benefits. Loud and lots of fun!

Booty-Licious

A jam-packed session focusing on the legs and glutes areas with plenty of squats, jumps, hip stability and more to target the lower body
